Couldn't do anything this morning even the stumble button didn't work.
That was with:

Not even a word of reply or acknowledgement from the SU folks.
As a long time paying subscriber I have to say that I'm very disappointed. If you need more info then at least take the time to ask for it.
In this set up (below) I can do everything but edit blog entries right now.

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm working on it.
In one set up this didn't work, but in another is seems to have. However, I have had short periods when things seemed Ok & then it just starting timing out on me again.
Also quite busy right now, will get back soon.

Your fix seemed to work for a while but then I was back to square one. I couldn't even get into this forum. I thought "What has changed?" & deleted cookies. This also * seemed to have worked but no, "waiting for stumbleupon" yet again.
It's as if I can only make so many clicks on links & then I run out of credit.
The problem appeared after I had been away for a week, Nothing in my set up had changed. I'm convinced that it's at the SU end.
I decided to edit this post but again I was blocked out that was in:

Now I'm in Windows Xp. I wanted to note that the page often doesn't finish loading, waiting for something called
stumbleupon.112.2o7.net
which never arrives. Maybe the page is disabled without this having fully downloaded?

We certainly don't have widespread reports of members experiencing problems such as those described in this thread, so we currently have no reason to suspect that we have a major problem at our end - but will continue to try and assist in identifying the causal problem here. |

I've tried everything, this is way beyond my level of knowledge.
Would you prefer me to start a new thread somewhere else? Can this thread be moved? Should it be moved, as I'm still not convinced that this isn't a bug.
