| Report spammer, block user not working | | |
Sponsor |  Xtine66 | Apr 3, 8:32am | When I click on the report spammer/hostile/vulgar etc buttons, nothing happens. They don't get larger or develop an underline as most clicked-on/moused over links do.
When I try to block someone in beta I get an error message:
"Invalid access
INVALID ACCESS
If this still doesn't work for you, please Contact Us to let us know :)"
I can block folks when I use classic.

Staff | | CH | Apr 3, 8:35am | The "invalid access" message is commonly encountered when NoScript is a factor in something not working. But it *could* be a combination of one, or more of those add-ons.
The cleanest way to check this sort of problem is to start a new Fx profile, and install *only* SU. If the functionality works in that environment, it is a reasonable supposition that one of the add-ons is a factor, and they can then be selectively enabled/disabled to identify the culprit.
Having said that, the Fx experts frequently offer that simply disabling an add-on is not necessarily sufficient to prevent it from being a contributory factor.

Aside: There *is* no beta - there is the default layout, and (optionally for members who joined pre-July 2007), the "classic" layout. |

Sponsor | | Xtine66 | May 6, 2:58pm | I created a second profile with only SU on it, switched from classic to the "beta" look and I am still having this problem.
Please don't tell me I have to allow a spammer's SU cookie so I may report it as a spammer! :( Then I'd have to hunt it down and delete it, too.
